Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy explains the standards that apply when using Chaitanya Digital Solutions websites, digital services, systems, cybersecurity-related services, automation, AI-assisted solutions, and other digital infrastructure.

Effective Date: 5 September 2026

DOCUMENT OVERVIEW

Responsible Use of Digital Systems

Chaitanya Digital Solutions provides websites, digital infrastructure, search visibility services, cybersecurity-related assessments and improvements, automation, AI-assisted systems, and related digital services. This policy establishes baseline rules for using those services lawfully, responsibly, and with appropriate authorization.

Who This Applies To

This policy applies to visitors, customers, clients, authorized users, and other persons who access or use CDS websites, systems, services, or infrastructure where this policy is referenced.

Relationship With Other Terms

This policy supplements the applicable CDS Terms & Conditions, service agreements, statements of work, proposals, and other contractual documents. Where a signed agreement contains service-specific requirements, that agreement may provide additional obligations.

ACCEPTABLE USE

Use Systems With Authorization & Responsibility

The following principles apply to the use of CDS services and to activities performed through systems or infrastructure managed, configured, or supported by CDS.

1. Lawful Use

Services must be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and legitimate third-party platform rules.

2. Authorization Matters

Users must have appropriate authorization before accessing, testing, modifying, scanning, monitoring, or otherwise interacting with systems, accounts, networks, websites, data, or infrastructure belonging to another person or organization.

3. Protect Access Credentials

Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate control over passwords, API keys, administrator accounts, access tokens, and other credentials under their control. Credentials must not be intentionally shared with unauthorized persons.

4. Respect Data & Privacy

Users must not unlawfully collect, expose, disclose, misuse, sell, transfer, or otherwise process personal or confidential information through CDS services. Data handling may also be subject to the applicable CDS Privacy Policy and contractual requirements.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Activities That Are Not Permitted

CDS services and infrastructure must not be used to facilitate unlawful activity, unauthorized access, abuse, fraud, or activity that creates unreasonable risk to people, systems, data, or third parties.

5. Unauthorized Access

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, websites, servers, applications, networks, databases, cloud environments, devices, or other digital resources is prohibited.

6. Malware & Harmful Activity

Users must not use CDS services to distribute malware, ransomware, destructive code, credential-stealing tools, malicious payloads, or other harmful software or instructions intended to compromise systems or users.

7. Fraud, Phishing & Deception

Services must not be used for phishing, impersonation, fraudulent transactions, deceptive websites, credential harvesting, scams, or other activity intended to mislead or defraud individuals or organizations.

8. Abuse of Infrastructure

Users must not intentionally overload, disrupt, interfere with, damage, or attempt to bypass reasonable controls protecting CDS, client, hosting, network, application, or third-party infrastructure.

9. Unlawful or Abusive Communications

Users must not use CDS-managed systems or services for unlawful spam, abusive bulk communications, harassment, malicious campaigns, or communications that violate applicable law or contractual requirements.

10. Intellectual Property Violations

Users must not knowingly use CDS services to infringe copyrights, trademarks, confidential information, proprietary rights, or other intellectual property rights belonging to third parties.

SERVICE-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY

Different Services Carry Different Responsibilities

Certain CDS services require additional care because they interact with search platforms, security-sensitive systems, business data, automation workflows, or AI-assisted processes.

Cybersecurity Services

Security reviews, assessments, testing, scanning, and related activities must be performed only with appropriate authorization and within the agreed scope. CDS does not treat this policy as permission to test third-party systems.

SEO & Search Visibility

Users must not request or knowingly deploy deceptive, manipulative, spam-oriented, or otherwise prohibited search-engine practices through CDS services.

AI & Automation

AI-assisted outputs may require human review, contextual validation, and correction before being relied upon. Users remain responsible for reviewing business-critical outputs and ensuring that automated workflows are used appropriately.

Client-Owned Infrastructure

Where CDS works on infrastructure owned or controlled by a client, the client remains responsible for maintaining appropriate legal rights, permissions, licenses, and authority for that infrastructure and its data.

AI & AUTOMATION

Responsible Use of AI-Assisted Systems

AI and automation can improve productivity, information processing, workflow execution, and decision support. They should not be treated as automatically accurate, infallible, or appropriate for every decision.

Human Review

Users should review outputs where accuracy, legality, financial consequences, security, reputation, or other material consequences are involved.

Responsible Automation

Automated workflows should be configured with appropriate rules, permissions, safeguards, and review mechanisms for the intended business context.

ENFORCEMENT

Handling Suspected Policy Violations

CDS may take reasonable action when it has credible information that a service, account, system, or infrastructure is being used in a way that violates this policy, applicable law, or an applicable contractual obligation.

Possible Actions

Depending on the circumstances, actions may include requesting clarification, restricting access, pausing affected services, securing affected infrastructure, or terminating services where permitted by the applicable agreement or law.

Urgent Situations

Where immediate action appears reasonably necessary to protect people, systems, data, infrastructure, or legal interests, CDS may take proportionate protective measures without waiting for a normal service-review process.

Legal or Security Reporting

Where required or reasonably appropriate under applicable law, contractual obligations, or legitimate security response processes, CDS may preserve relevant information and cooperate with competent authorities or affected parties.

No Permission by Silence

The absence of an immediate response from CDS to a suspected violation does not constitute permission, approval, waiver, or authorization for the activity.

LEGAL FRAMEWORK

Applicable Laws & Platform Requirements

Users are expected to comply with laws and regulations applicable to their activities, together with relevant contractual and third-party platform requirements. Depending on the service and circumstances, this may include applicable provisions of Indian information technology, data protection, intellectual property, consumer protection, communications, and other laws.

India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 establish India’s statutory framework for digital personal data protection. The notified framework includes phased commencement provisions, so specific obligations may depend on the relevant provision, date, role, processing activity, and applicable circumstances.
